I was just expressing my view of how my country is letting people who can't integrate to the society live in. Some people get citizenship when they have extreme views about womens and do not let their works when trying to get them welfare for not working.
I am not against welfare or immigration but the people will let in should benefit the society and not the opposite. If you check Switzerland, Japan, Nordic countries which have good immigration policies, the quality of life is way better. It is OK to let immigrant that could integrate to society. I would love to have Japanese immigrants influencing our society with their culture and mindset. You find it OK that people come and try to impose their religion for example? A teacher shows Mahomet pictures in a laic country and then immigrants start doing violence (I know that they are not all immigrants, some of them may have gotten citizenship). At one time some immigrant were saying that it is a good thing that we had a Charlie hebdo attacks. In English, "politics" is usually treated as a singular noun even though it ends in "s" since there is no singular 'politic'. We use singular verbs with it, so "politics was banned" is standard.
'Politics' is different from plurale tantum nouns that are plural by default because they have two parts in one e.g scissors, glasses, pants, etc. This is why we say "Politics _is_ interesting" rather than "Politics _are_ interesting".

I have hundreds of cousins several generations worth living in Israel since before 1900 when it wasn’t even Israel yet. I have a straight line to what actually goes on there.
You don’t quite know that most of what you read is bullshit unfortunately. And yes I have a bias I’m Jewish, but I also abhor violence. The thing is, I’ve lived there and I know what really happens.
What you call a poor innocent is 99% of the time a terrorist who has committed acts of mass violence.
The problem is they’re never going to stop, and they’ve been offered so so much. Equality in every way. Multiple times.
They demand absolutely everything or they will not acquiesce. But go ahead tell me how you solve THAT conundrum? Yeah that’s what I thought. There is NO solution. And so the world wants to paint a picture to get you to think of Israel as the aggressor because you know why? They’re terrified of the Arabs and not of the Israelis. And they’d rather take down the ones who will fall easier.
Go ahead keep thinking what you do. You’re not the first and won’t be the last to be a sucker for world politics and the fabricated reality you are _given_ to believe.
You know what? Seek the truth on your own; a stranger online ain’t gonna convince you of shit. I just hope you’ll do a little research on your own not trusting just what you hear from news sources. I have more family history in the region than you can imagine and you’ve been fed a banquet of lies - I’m sorry. You and millions of others.
And Israel has not always handled everything perfectly. They’re in a scenario where there’s no gentle solution. The Arabs place their military installations in residential zones among the civilians - think about who does that kind of thing? They use civilian deaths as pawns for political image… Israel has always tried to keep those casualties to the minimum. Unlike the U.S.A. who nuked two countries flat.
What would you do?? A “people” whose military and civilians alike (no not all) suicide bomb cafes and buses and libraries etc. for DECADES. They turn down EVERY reasonable offer for peace treaty. They want EVERYTHING. 🎵“From the river to the sea”🎶 they sing; that’s the Jordan River to the Mediterranean Sea. The East and west borders of Israel. They want all.
Those same said civilians were recorded on video dancing and celebrating on 9/11 when their Arab compatriots attacked America.
And so… how would you approach this? Just keep begging for peace while they adamantly refuse every offer short of total ownership of all and everything?
The new ultra left stance is cowardice. I’m a democrat and cannot stand the right wing; but the far left have become soggy rags. They’re terrified of the Arabs and blaming Jews is comfortable. It’s familiar. It’s always the acceptable last resort.
