Life before death, Radiant.

To my knowledge, the sapient population is the human population of Earth.
However, there are numerous sentient species that could conceivably be “uplifted” in the next thousand years. Plus, I consider it more likely than not that extraterrestrials do exist and that there’s likely another sapient species out there, though they are unlikely to be in our general volume of space

I have two moods for this:
One is a playlist composed of most of the library of songs by PVRIS. I don’t know why, but their music just really clicks with me; I can listen to that playlist all day with no problems (I usually hate listening to the same song more than once or twice a day).
The other is a playlist of non-combat music from The Elder Scrolls. Really good for gentle background music.

Who said the person was human?

Consider the TV show another turning of the Wheel. Nothing in it prevents you from enjoying the Source.

Interesting choice. As much as I love the setting, I couldn’t see myself living in a place that has hurricanes on a weekly basis.

I’m guessing it’s the manager of the former manager.

Maybe it was for a new kind or material of button? This factoid is from long ago and is half remembered.

The buttons on suit jackets are a holdover from a time that buttons were new, and therefore fashionable. Well to do sorts had buttons all over their suits, even in places that would be considered silly these days.
AH lost its sheen to me when they basically forced out Ray. A whole bunch of downhill slides in content quality, and by the time the Ryan stuff happened that was the straw that broke the camel’s back for me.
It’s a shame, because I have fond memories of some of the peak Lads vs Gents era but the whole network is just ruined for me now.

I think anything beyond 30 seconds counts as a listen, so maybe you need to be faster in the skip.

Misery Business is such a good song! Always gotta crank up the volume when that comes up!

People debate whether we landed on the moon - one of the wisest watched televised events ever. I would be surprised if a Livestream of him doing just that would be enough to avoid dozens of conspiracy theories.

I’m a locksmith, and, I’m a locksmith.

I remember playing the sequel when I was younger and remember having a blast. I don’t know of a good dragonriding / sword & sorcery game that’s come out in ages, so a remake of these games would be amazing.

Adios ASIO

I’m pretty sure I read an article a couple of weeks ago about that exact scenario happening.

Local transactions would be in Yen (also all vending machines such as train tickets - very important for getting around).
I would say you’d want to have at least a few hundred dollars worth of Yen when you arrive, and you could possibly get more when you get there, depending on how your bank works. Another option is to get a prepaid Visa card which you can then use to withdraw money in Yen from their ATMs.

Something I haven’t seen suggested in other comments is to rent a mobile wifi dongle and unlimited internet. This was fantastic when I travelled there since I could get directions and translation in real time through my phone without having to deal with the hassle of roaming charges.
The process to pick it up was super easy - either at the airport or main train station (can’t remember which), and returning it was as simple as putting it in the provided mail package and putting it in a mailbox.
Some other things - in my experience Tokyo at least is not super accessible for wheelchairs and the like. I recall that the first subway station I exited from had a two story stair climb with no alternative, and this was hardly a unique experience.
Also, Japan still very much runs on cash. I don’t know what it’s like for you, but where I am (outside US), we’ve basically transitioned to a cash-free economy for 90% of transactions so that was a big change for me.
Same here. Been together 8 years, and from the sounds of it they got terrible ~7 years ago.
