I’ve been busy posting to !linux@programming.dev for the last week following your post.
You don’t need to have an account on lemmy.ml to organize the migration (I did not post there). Organizing the migration means
- select an existing community that could act as an alternative
- promote that community to !newcommunities@lemmy.world and !communitypromo@lemmy.ca
- post to that community to make it appear in people feed
- over time, people will come (!linux@programming.dev has now 1.56K active users / week
