        They completely redesigned the face of Sonic and rerendered all the 3D scenes after getting social media feedback. Comparison:

            No they apparently had a ton of merchandise featuring ugly sonic that they decided to just destroy/throw out instead of trying to sell it. Idk why, I woulda totally bought an ugly sonic T-shirt.

                For full transparency I never verified that claim, but it would not be the most outlandish failure I’ve heard of. And at least they actually fixed the problem. Remember Cats?
