I was going to say I had a “friend” who got banned quite liberally from some locations. I believe the Fediverse seems to more more draconian than Reddit at times. At least Reddit has to try and maintain some illusion of neutrality. Conservative.Lemmy.ml would NEVER exist.
Perhaps the communities are not as fake because updoots cannot be farmed (either to sell the account or just so you can feel your existence validated, lol). And maybe monotheistrevolutionaries.lemmy.ml could exist? 😅
