I’m pretty sure if someone was given the choice, they wouldn’t want to work and instead do what they want. Financial reasons aside, of course.

I agree with others that this reads as a person who’s chronically online. Perhaps bluntly saying “go outside” is insensitive, but it would not hurt to organically expose yourself to real people in real life instead of mentally ill people on the internet these days.

You mentioned getting a job - working is a great option, but truthfully nobody likes work, everyone who says so is coping.

However, putting yourself through challenges is what builds your character. You seem lost to me, so I think you should do these mundane boring little detours in life, because that’s where you’ll find what you actually want to do.

Revisiting PUBG on pc again. I really miss proximity chat being enabled by default and being able to talk to people in the spawn room. Along with the broken car physics I feel like the game lost its soul when those two things were removed.

I’ll be frank, if you don’t have friends or a partner and you aren’t willing to leave your comfort zone to talk to people then to me it indicates a lack of willingness on your side. Why don’t you want those enough to overcome your faults and just keep at it?

You’re overcomplicating it and making this far more harder than it needs to be. You hobby can be going out on walks, drawing, playing very cheap sports, etc. No more no less. There is barely an economical factor for finding a cheap enjoyable hobby.

And I’m not advocating toxic positivity or being blissfully ignorant. All I’m saying is finding something enjoyable to do in the fleeting life you have is better than being miserable all day by going out of your way to read bad news on the internet.

Find a hobby besides reading bad news on the internet, it’s not that hard
