I guess, yea, I just don’t know of any way to check this, even a name for it. The wikipedia page obviously does not have this sort of characterization, chatgpt just bullshits this:
- Facebook: Like Las Vegas - flashy, attention-grabbing, and always “on.” Both Facebook and Las Vegas are known for their vibrant, energetic atmospheres, where people come to connect, share, and have a good time. Just as the Strip is always bustling, Facebook’s News Feed is constantly updating with new content.
Maybe it’s something that has never been taken seriously enough to characterize systematically: city “personalities” and social media “personalities” and yes…it depends on who it is that is viewing it…tourist, inhabitant, commuter…

So let me see if I got it:
Lemmy in web 1 would have been like geocities: website replies to website message from link
Lemmy in web 2 is Lemmy
Lemmy in web 3 is Lemmy with an instant cryptocurrency/liberapay tipping button in each post/comment, like steemit 7 years ago?
Blade runner. Much better than “Do androids dream of electric sheep?” but it is only loosely based off it.
PS: when reading a book after watching a film, it usually feels like the book is much better, fills in details, separates scenes which a film had mixed together or altogether done away with. E.g. The Shining, LotR, Dune…but for Androids I just felt “what, that’s it?”
Green here 'cuz it tastes as good to me as I imagine that wine does to other people… and the shades of flavour from the kick-ass 1st, 2nd, 3rd and the last ditch 4th waters are nice to compare too. Sometimes I oversteep the 1st water to get that kick in the teeth in the morning…sometimes I just let it mellow and drink the tasteless tired water…it’s sorta fun if you ain’t into alcohol or coffee :)
Yea, I’ve heard that about Bristol :) lovely bunch.
