We use gitlab and I knew my coworker commited something yesterday, I deployed a new version yesterday but I wasn’t sure if I deployed before or after his commit. Why do they just show yester instead of a normal timestamp. Do these developers think we can’t read?
Everything is a fucking service! NO, I don’t want to spend 2.99 every month on a app that reminds me to take a pill.
Even hardware products that basically are scrap metal if you don’t pay a monthly fee.
I don’t know how this works in the US, but where I live after a year subscription (let’s say for your internet provider or something). They can only renew per month. So if the year subscription is over you can cancel any service every month and they can’t hit you with any fees.
Back in the day if you’d forgot to cancel your plan you’d be stuck with them for another year. It sucked!
Not American but from EU, have a 3 day survival box with water and food.
There is a real chance Russia at some point attacks, I don’t think they will drop a nuke any time. But they might try to sabotage the electricity network or financial system. So if a large (cyber) attack happens my family has enough for 3 days, a week if we have to.
I have a similar sort of recipe, but instead of the broiler, you can also drain all the liquid, put it back in the slow cooker and set it to high for 1 hour.
I usually drain the liquid to a small pan and boil it until it becomes much less liquid and more like a sauce, I add it back to the slowcooker after the hour is done.
I also have odido and pay 16, unlimited calls (I think also text), 25GB of data. I think it was 20GB, but we get 5GB extra because my wife also has odido. 25GB is more than enough for my use, I used 12GB max in the last 12 months.
I have a pixel 6 pro, but I wouldn’t recommend it. You’d think Google is capable of providing a perfect Android experience, but my old Note 9 was way less buggy.
I’ve had lots of issues with 3rd party launchers (nova), I can’t even use the USBC with a dongle and second screen (my old Note could do this without issues). Also this is my first phone without headphone jack and SD slot, both I really miss. Just in general the software (especially in the beginning) felt really buggy with small glitches etc.
I don’t think I’ll ever go pixel again.
I have been a software tester for a long time and I really fuckin hate these JS frameworks that try to reinvent the wheel but worse.
Like why is a fucking table now a bunch of divs? Why is a drop down (select) list a bunch of divs? With disappearing html blocks when you close the list?
HTML worked fine, why are we reinventing basic HTML but worse?
