2·1 year agoYeah, but if you’re communicating with the buttplug store, the specific contents of the box don’t really matter. You still want a trusted friend to not tell people where you get your boxes from.

I think people are willing to sacrifice more than even they would expect, but no one wants to be the only one sacrificing, especially if it puts them at a disadvantage compared to others. But collectively, if people sacrificed together, it could even become a point of pride. It’s why countries develop strong solidarity in times of war.

Somewhere in Time, which someone already mentioned. I wish I liked it more, but it gets credit because the Jack Finney book Time and Again, which it is very loosely inspired by, is one of the best time travel stories ever.
