Depends on the phone. On some phones, it is on a separate tiny board which is cheap to replace. If it’s on the motherboard, it requires soldering, and it can be fucked if the copper pads get torn.

Slower is usually better for the battery, use it if you charge at night. It also decreases the wear on the usb port.

A bread machine. Had good reviews. I used it like 3 or 4 times. The mixing things are too small to mix the dough properly, and having to fish them out of the bread after it was done was a huge hassle. The bread was not great… Shell was too hard, and the top side didn’t cook properly. Then I realized, I could basically do the same with a planetary mixer that can mix the dough and the normal oven, and the end result was far better.

First couple of minutes would be nice to catch up with world events. I would take some time to find money making strategies, like learning what to invest in, or what about to buy. If the person has any knowledge about some revolutionary technology, it would be nice to learn about it. Maybe we could use the knowledge to advance mankind. I would also want to learn about things to watch out for. Maybe I should move to some other country because the one I’m in goes to shit.

I would just undo all the mergers and acquisitions. In 90% of cases, this just results in the games being worse, and the magic that made the studios great is extinguished.

I would be careful with gadgets that have software on them like phones and laptops. God knows what kind of Chinese spyware they come with.

As someone who has more hobbies than time, I seriously don’t understand how people can have no hobbies. How do these people live? How do they find fulfillment? What do they do in their spare time, only entertainment?

I feel the same way. When I was a kid, my parents had a pretty small collection of tapes of religious music, and that’s the only stuff they would listen to. Once I got my first internet connection around the age of 12, a whole new world opened up.
Today, I listen to music all the time, while working, while driving. It was so weird (and depressing) to go on a trip in my sister’s car who doesn’t listen to music.

Because your rights have been eroded by decades of deregulation and lobbying. And because publicly traded companies are legally required to maximize profits at all costs.

Age of Empires 2. Love the game, but I’m terrible at it… I can barely beat the medium AI. I was defeated in pretty much every online match.

Tech products. It’s not worth the risk of getting some Chinese spying crap. Even chargers and cables have the risk of damaging your hardware.
I think video platforms should be hosted by the government, like public libraries. They are very difficult to run at a profitable rate, and YouTube is basically a monopoly in this space. But it has an incredible value to society.
What are you going to use it for? You have to give us more details, a vague question will lead to generic answers that will probably not be the best choice for you.

In most places, lights are placed on the ceiling. This is fine for generally lighting a room, but if you need to do something intricate that’s not directly under the ceiling lamp it can be hard to see. Even simple things like plugging in some cables under the desk.

Having an expresso machine doesn’t mean you will drink 10 cups a day. It will just make the cups you drink taste better and be more enjoyable. Personally, I avoid coffee after 6PM and don’t have any problems with sleep. I’m also fine without drinking coffee, some days I prefer tea or just water.

A dishwasher… For a family, it saves a huge amount of time and water.

Take a loan, pay the guy to reverse time. Now the loan is reversed and you don’t have to pay it back.
I just use a planetary mixer that can mix the dough. It uses a lot less space, and it can be used for multiple purposes. For resting, rising, i will just transfer it over to the pan and put it somewhere warm, like next to the radiator or in the oven on a very low setting.
