Hey, we play that in Australia too!

Australian here. Christmas decorations will go up shortly for a lot of people. They come down a day or two after Christmas.
Obviously the main difference is that it’ll be the middle of summer so it’ll be unpleasantly hot. A lot of people do BBQs for a shared meal, seafood is a very common thing here for Christmas, especially prawns. Oh and Cherries. Everyone loves cherries for Christmas for some reason. And Pavlova
Other than that, it’s probably pretty similar to Christmas in the U.S.

A shortlist of some of my favourite Australian music
Too much good music to name, but this is a solid start

Not sure I really have a favourite band. But first thing that came to mind was the salmon dance by the chemical brothers
I like maths. What game are you talking about?

I’ll also add here, you can buy a second game, automation - the car company tycoon game.
This allows you to build your own cars and export them to play with in beamNg. I personally like building drag cars and seeing what times I can get in a quarter mile.

Yeah looks like it’s only a north American tour. That’s a shame. Most people aren’t willing to go to the US right now, including me.

Idk what you’re on about. Why do you think I have excess wealth? I grew up homeless and have worked hard for everything I have. I hold down a job, the times Im suffering so badly I can’t get out of bed are few and far between but they do happen. And in those low desperate moment sometimes I’ll order uber eats, fuck me right?
You’re right the vast majority of people with depression still have to go to work, and that includes me.
Depression is a mental disorder, of course it’s in my head. Do you think depression occurs in the lungs??

Thanks, hope I didn’t come off as rude. Just that there are reasons some people might appear to be lazy when in reality they’re battling demons

I’ve dealt with mental health issues my entire life. Crippling depression and anxiety means somedays I physically cannot even get out of bed, let alone leave the house and walk to the shops where there are a bunch of people.
I’ve used uber eats like this before. I wouldn’t consider myself lazy, just somedays I’m not ok and physically cannot face the supermarket. It’s not a good feeling to do this, it’s not laziness, it’s a last resort.
Be thankful you’re not in a position like this, and maybe try to see it from another perspective

Angel - massive attack.
Tests both the low end and the high end frequencies really well, plus it’s an incredible track and well produced

Ducky shine zero! I have mine from probably around the same time and it’s incredibly well built. Not my daily keyboard (I use an ergodox) but it is the keyboard for my gaming PC. I have the mx browns

Don’t forget the child labor

Depends on what countries classification system you’re using. Most countries don’t use pg-13

FYI PG-13 seems to only be a rating in a handful of countries, such as america, Iraq, Lebanon, Singapore and Qatar (I hadn’t heard of it so did a quick search).
In Canada and Australia for example, Gremlins is rated PG

I think blind allegiance to family is a much more sad perspective

Family means nothing. Spend your time with people you love and who love you. Don’t spend time around nazi-apologists.
Take control of you life, be the person you want to be.
It’s easier said than done, but if I can do it, anyone can.
I wanted a lot of things for myself when I was younger, and like you, it was purely aspirational, I wasn’t actually doing anything about it and I was incredibly unhappy.
It took a long time, and a lot of introspection but I’m currently the person younger me could only dream of being.
I grew up homeless, but I’ve worked my ass off to buy a house. I grew up lonely thinking nobody would love me, and now I have an incredible wife. I grew up idolizing musicians and now I’m a bad drummer (but I enjoy it).
Make plans. Think about what you want your life to be and make reasonable plans on how you can make it happen.
Your list seems extremely doable, play games, watch movies. I can’t imagine what’s stopping you from that but plan it out of you need to. Maybe Sunday night can be a movie night? Idk whatever works for you.
Join a gym. Like actually pick a gym and sign up. Once you start paying for it, you’d be an idiot to not actually go, so you’ll go.
A part of it is holding yourself accountable. Maybe you don’t feel like going to the gym. Go anyway. Maybe you don’t feel like watching a movie, sometimes you have to force it just so you can look back at yourself and be proud that you tried, that you put in the effort to be the person you want to be.
It’s not easy to live up to your own expectations, but I promise the effort it takes is always worth it.
Of course I don’t know your situation. But reading your post reminded me of a younger me and I just wanted you to know you can do it. You can live your best life and you deserve it
